About Us

The Child Development Research lab at Bradley University explores how young children understand mental concepts.

Child Scientists Needed

If you and your child are interested in being a part of our research, please contact us at cjezowit@mail.bradley.edu or click here to sign up!

Our Research

  • Our studies use fun "games" and stories to see how children (3 to 7 year-olds) reason about goal-making.

  • Typically, participation in our studies usually involves a one time visit to Bradley University, and lasts less than half an hour.

  • When the study is being conducted, a researcher will contact you with further details. You can then decide whether you would like to participate.

  • We will arrange an appointment time that is convenient for you and your child.

  • Participants might receive a gift or honorarium for their efforts.

Educational Experience

The Child Development Research lab is a place where parents can witness scientific research as it is happening. Families learn about child development research as they actively participate in it. Families are invited to talk with the researchers about the study.
