This project serves as Ms. Jezowit's psychology honors thesis at Bradley University.

Caitlyn has worked with Dr. Derek Montgomery for the past 2.5 years as a research assistant in the child development lab at Bradley University.
​

Her honors thesis has received funding to help contribute to developmental research.

Caitlyn hopes to get M.S./Ed.S degree in School Psychology after graduating from Bradley University.

Dr. Derek Montgomery

Dr. Derek Montgomery received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida. He has worked at Bradley since 1993.
​

Dr. Montgomery teaches classes such as: Developmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Cognitive Development.
​

Dr. Montgomery's research investigates how young children learn to self-regulate their behaviors.
​

Dr. Montgomery is involved on several university committees.
​

Currently, Dr. Montgomery serves as the Associate Dean of Engaged Learning for the college of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Our Lab
Our research assistants Caitlyn, Melissa, Kierra, and Sara visited the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum to tell families about our lab and sign up families who are interested in participating.
